Going National

With Richmond, Virginia, gaining recognition on the national stage as a must-visit destination, the city was chosen to be one of National Geographic’s 25 US travel guide destinations in 2018.


I was so honored to be asked to write an informative, enticing guide to Richmond, Virginia, that catered to even the most traveled of National Geographic readers. Having extensive personal experience with RVA—and friends willing to consult where my knowledge fell short—I was able to provide vivid copy that fleshed out the unique reasons that I think this ever-changing metropolis is a great place to be.
